Eddie is a writer/poet from Buffalo, NY. The origin of
Eddie’s work is born in the dynamic when the dreamer's heart & the rational
mind collide. What you get are stories, verses & prose delivered
rhythmically with raw emotion and an emphasis on substance over flash. Every
poem has meaning. In his work you’ll find recollections, hopes, triumphs,
adversity, personal testimonies, and others that might qualify as cultural
anthems. The subject matter is as diverse as the poet.
He is:
-a 4 time Pure Ink Poetry Slam Winner
-a member of the 2013 Empire State Slam Champions
-a 4 time performer at the annual Buffalo Infringement
Festival
-a 2 time performer at the annual Music is Art Festival
-He has also performed at the annual Elmwood Festival of the
Arts and for several colleges and community organizations around the Western
New York area.
-He has shared the stage with many great poets such as Saul
Williams, Ten Thousand, Lazyrus, Brandon Williamson, Ed Koch, Resolve, Mic Tha
Poet, Solomon Dixon, Ben Brindise, MC Vendetta and many others.
